Good Chungju

The Chungju Apple Festival, which was held every October since 1997 with the regional slogan 「Chungju Means Apple, and Apple Means Chungju」, to promote Chungju apples and revitalize local economy, has been integrated with Chungju Chestnut Festival, Chungju Waubau Festival, and Mt. Cheondeung Sweet Potato Festival to be held as “Chungju Agricultural Products Hanmadang Festival” from 2015.

During the festival period, farmers’ market will be operated to offer Chungju’s agricultural products – apples, chestnuts, sweet potatoes, rice, and more – at affordable prices, and you can enjoy various activities including Waubau Experience, rice cake making, and wood working experiences.
